Alter State 2026: program out

Program for Alter State 2026 is out. Main days Wednesday 2 – Saturday 5 December across Arts Centre Melbourne, participating venues in Naarm, and online, with more from mid-November.

Theme stays Regeneration: Building Deaf and Disabled Futures. More than 100 Deaf and Disabled artists across 13 venues — performance, exhibitions, films, workshops, a symposium and parties. Symposium Day One (2 Dec) includes a panel from Luke D King and Irene Holub of The D Spot.

Access includes Auslan interpreting, live captions, audio description, mobility access and quiet spaces.
