Still from the VR animation — a dark, amorphous school of fish drifting in grey water
Still from the VR animation — an explosion of synesthesia: hands and coral forms in green, pink and violet

Migrating from the ‘hearing world’ to the ‘deaf world’ is an experience that can be overwhelming to nearly inducing a state of anxiety. One moment, an amorphous sea of nondescript life. The next, a explosion of synesthesia through colours and cosiginant shapes. It takes some adjusting, but the aftereffect is lingering evermore — and nearly addictive.
